Who We Are
The Early Birds
of Southern California is a group of men and women who love 1955, 1956 and 1957 Ford Thunderbirds, and who are interested
in their preservation and restoration. Our members are in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Orange, Riverside, San
Bernadino and Ventura Counties. We welcome all 1955-57 Thunderbirds, whether restored, original, modified, or un-restored.
We get together on
the third Saturday of each month for a meeting, social time, and dinner. The meeting locations vary but are generally
held in the Greater Los Angeles or Orange County area.
Once a
month, we hold an activity which could be almost anything from visiting museums to car shows.
The Early Birds
of Southern California host the Pageant of the Thunderbird which started in 1974.
Our mission
is to promote interest in driving, preserving and restoring 1955, 1956 and 1957 Thunderbirds and to bring together owners,
and other interested parties, of these cars who subscribe to these objectives.
Any registered owner of a 1955, 1956, or
1957 Ford Thunderbird may apply for membership. If your T-Bird is disassembled for restoration, you still qualify for membership.
Members should be able to dedicate enough
time to participate and make a difference in the organization.

- Monthly newsletter, "Bird Calls"
- New Member packet, including name badge
